My name is Wendy Matthews and I practice as a therapist, counsellor, and InnerSense/breathwork facilitator. I believe that true healing begins within the body. My practice uniquely integrates breathwork and somatic techniques, utilizing the body as the gateway to deeper inner awareness. Unlike traditional counselling that often prioritizes conversation alone, I combine innovative therapeutic methods to engage clients on a physical and emotional level. With over 15 years of experience and 3000 breathwork sessions facilitated, I guide you on a transformative journey toward personal growth and healing. My practice is both online and in-person. Whether you prefer face-to-face sessions or the convenience of online counselling via Zoom or Google meets, I offer both options to cater to your needs. With clients in New Zealand and abroad, geographical boundaries are not a limitation – I am available to work with you, no matter where you are in the world.

As part of my commitment to your well-being, I lead a regular meditation class each week. Our free weekly session is on NZT Tuesday mornings, at 6:30 am and is open to all, and you can join us using the provided Zoom link here.
